Christie King has been involved in the auction industry since 1987, when she joined her family’s auction business. In 2007, Ms. King received the Benefit Auctioneer Specialists designation from the National Auctioneers Association. She then established C King Benefit Auctions and began fully dedicating her efforts to helping nonprofit organizations, focusing on helping women, children, animals and various medical foundations. Christie has assisted numerous organizations in generating millions of dollars in revenue for their causes. She is past president of the Alabama Auctioneers Association and was inducted into the Hall of Fame. She was the president of the National Auctioneers Association in 2012, becoming the first female and Alabamian to do so in the association’s 62 year history. She presently serves on the Alabama State board of Auctioneers, the Humane Society Pet Rescue and Adoption Center and is the 2014 Presidential Appointment to the National Auctioneers Association.
