I currently serve as the Brigade Deputy Commander for 4th Brigade 3rd Infantry Division, with plans of retiring from the U.S. Army in December 2014 and residing in Knoxville TN. I also work at Savannah Auction exchange as a relief Auctioneer in Pooler, GA. 
I was born in Haysi, VA a small town nestled in the Appalachian Mountains. I began my military service on 03 October 1994 with the Virginia Army National Guard. I graduated from one-station unit training (OSUT) in September 1995, as a Combat Engineer. I enrolled at East Tennessee State University and their ROTC program where I received a Scholarship I majored in Criminal Justice and was commission a 2LT in the Infantry on 05 May 2000. I graduated Infantry Officer Basic Course and Ranger School in 2000 from Fort Benning GA.

I held a variety of leadership positions throughout my career ranging from Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, Assistant Operations Officer Battalion, Assistant Operations Officer Brigade, Iraqi Training Team Mentor Chief, Rifle and Recruiting Company Commander, Battalion Executive Officer, and Deputy Brigade Commander.

I have deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom, twice, and Operation Enduring Freedom four times.
My military education includes the Officer Basic Course, Infantry Advance Course, Command and General Staff College (ILE), Airborne School, Air Assault School, Ranger School, Recruiting Commanders Course, Bradley Fighting Leaders Course.
I graduated from Webster University with a 4.0 GPA, earning my Masters of Business Administration M.B.A in the summer of 2012.
I attended the North Georgia school of Auctioneering where I earned my Auctioneer licensed after passing the state exam for Georgia.

I am a member of the National Auctioneers Association.
