I was born in Allentown and graduated from Northern Lehigh High School in Slatington. After, High School I joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany and Korea overseas, and in the states I was stationed in Texas and Colorado and North Carolina. I went to East Stroudsburg University and received my BA in Economics. I was in the National Guard for the next 10 years and Retired from the National Guard in 2006, after my Deployment to Iraq. In 2003 I became a teacher in the School District of Philadelphia and in 2009 took a job in the Palmerton Area School District and finished my Masters in Multicultural Education from Eastern University in St David PA. Went on to teach at Northwestern Academy in Coal Township and moved to the Bloomsburg/Berwick area Sept 2011 after the flood. I left Northwestern Academy in July 2013 and started in a new position as the Dean of Students for PATH (PA Treatment and Healing). In May of 2012 finished my second Masters in Education Leadership. I also teach one to two courses at McCann school of Business and Technology in Hazleton PA. In the fall of 2012 I attended Harrisburg Area Community College in the Auctioneer program and finished in Dec. 2012 with honors and made the Deans List. I have three children, 2 daughters and son, my oldest daughter is married and lives in the Poconos. My youngest daughter graduated from Kutztown University in 2013. My son transfered from Penn college to McCann in the fall of 2013 and is majoring in CMIT. You can find my two daughters working for me at the auctions and if my son is not working he is there also. My niece and her husband can be seen working for me also, but I can't keep out my great nephew Alex. He is 5 and already likes to help at the auction as a runner.
If not at the auction you can find me at one of the local race tracks. I enjoy collecting paintings, jewelry, coins and antiques. Ask my children about the number of paintings I have. I grew up at auction houses in the area and I still remember the nights sitting at Herman Greene as a child. I still enjoy being there if I am not working.
