Walker Auctions

Lance Walker is owner of Walker Auctions, a Memphis-based auction company. He conducts online and live auctions of real estate and personal property in the Memphis area selling estates, home furnishings, homes, land and business liquidation. He also conducts benefit auctions that raises more than $10 million annually for charities across the United States and Canada. The auctioneer's bid calling skills are geared toward the type of sophisticated crowd that attends a large fund raising auction. When selling, he has a very clear, concise and entertaining chant. In fact, entertaining the guests for the two to three hour auction is a large part of the auctioneer's appeal. He is very conscious of the need to maintain momentum during the auction. Crowd control is one of his main attributes since several hundred people are in attendance at most charity auctions.

Lance Walker has a masters degree in education, is a graduate of the Certified Auctioneers Institute at Indiana University and co-wrote and serves as an instructor of the Benefit Auctioneers Specialist program. He is a past member of the board of Directors of the National Auctioneers Association. He has been a presenter at several charitable educational seminars and has attended numerous auction seminars sponsored by the National Auctioneers Association. His auctioneering talents even earned him an appearance on Bill Cosby's "You Bet Your Life" television show.
